In the summer of 2007 I traveled to a small town in Minnesota. It’s the town my great grandparents lived in after coming to America from Germany. A few of my relatives are still there today on the same piece of farmland. I named the series One…here is a taste…I shared these photos in three galleries during 2008 and they were a huge success!

What Came First....
Cleaning out our chicken coop is always a healthy reminder of a necessary concern for the quality and origin of our food. I admit it’s a bit gross too… even if it is ORGANIC I have no doubt Hank and Georgie were stoked. They lost their mother to a coyote this week during snack time ( free range hours).
